Maryse Saint-Laurent, KC
Maryse C. Saint-Laurent is an accomplished executive and corporate director with more than 30 years’ experience as a business-oriented corporate, transactional, and securities lawyer in the energy, power, and mining sectors. She has led several M&A and multi-faceted financing transactions and has a strong governance background. Ms. Saint-Laurent also possesses several years of experience in human resources, compensation, and benefits/pension management. Ms. Saint-Laurent currently serves on the boards of ATB Financial, North American Construction Group Ltd., where she chairs the Governance Committee, BBA Consultants, and the Institute of Corporate Directors (IDC). She also brings significant experience in human resources, compensation, benefits, and pension management. Previously, she served on the board of Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd., Pretivm Resources Inc., the Alberta Securities Commission, where she presided over Commission Hearings, and Guyana Goldfields. Ms. Saint-Laurent holds a Master of Laws (securities and finance) from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School, as well as an LL.B., BA, and Certification in Human Resources and Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta. She also holds the ICD.D and GCB.D designations.
